Does Your New Year’s Resolution include Bible Study?
Have you resolved to “do better” studying the Bible? Go a step further and join us for an online inductive Bible study of the great book of Hebrews!
What can you expect? You will learn the basics of inductive Bible study…observation, interpretation, and application. Bible study doesn’t have to be a great mystery once you understand the basics. You will also enjoy a community of people eager to learn together. And expect to have your skirt blown up by the powerful book of Hebrews!
So how do you join? Just go to SHINE Ministries & “like” us. Leave a comment letting me know you would like to participate. This is where much of the interactive discussions will take place along with this website.
Go ahead and download and print the first 3 chapters of Hebrews here: PDF of chapter 1-3. It is the NKJV, but if you prefer another translation, please feel free to print what you like best. You can find any translation at Biblegateway.com. These are called “observation sheets” and can be used as you learn how to observe the scripture text by using color-coded symbols. More about this later!
One last thing…to make sure you stay up to date, sign up for email updates from SHINE Ministries. Just look to the right on this page for the box that says “subscribe to our mailing list”. I’m so excited and I’m definitely expecting my skirt to be blown up. Lol. My downfall (if there is one) is I do not have a computer. However, I’m trusting God to make my IPhone compatible to whatever I may need, in order to learn more about His Word! One of my resolutions for 2013 is to SEEK, SEEK, SEEK HIM!
